THREAD seeks to build a roster of web developers to contract on current and future projects.

Chosen contractors have experience in producing well-designed w3c-compliant websites that function under a wide variety of browsing conditions. Contractors have experience in producing websites start to finish and have previous contract experience. Contractors also have experience in managing projects that require meeting schedule and budget requirements.

All THREAD projects are design-intensive and creatively rich. Our projects cover a broad spectrum which requires both technical and creative skills. In certain cases, we are looking for someone with the ability to transform layered .psd files into standards compliant CSS driven HTML. In other cases, contractors have the opportunity to help define the experience strategy, information architecture, and UI design.

Immediate contract needs are predominantly technical.

• high degree of proficiency in (X)HTML
• thorough working knowledge of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
