THREAD SHOP was a hybrid retail store/art exhibition space.

Previously located in a storefront in the historic Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, THREAD SHOP connected artists and their work with unsuspecting audiences, made contemporary art more accessible, and generated alternative forms of income for artists.

THREAD SHOP carried two sets of goods – consignment wares made by artists and objects produced by THREAD in collaboration with artists.
