“I have been impressed with what THREAD has produced so far and I am certainly not alone in that… they produce high-quality products, operate simultaneously on many fronts, and have a flexible model for growth…”

– Robin Held, Chief Curator,
Frye Art Museum
THREAD collaborates with artists to produce products.

Historically, there’s a long lineage of artists who have made everyday objects. Sculptor Alexander Calder created jewelry, painter Josef Albers made fruit bowls, and Rachel Whiteread designs furniture.

THREAD seeks to carry on this tradition and to encourage the incorporation of art into everyday life.

Thoughtfully blending art with commerce, THREAD selects artists to work with our designers to develop, manufacture, and distribute accessible objects that are artistically inspired.
