A subdued, intimate, Asian-inspired DJ VIP room with six original wall drawings, twelve pedestal shelves with sculptures/objects, combination electric lighting and candles, and fabric paneled wainscoting |
A VIP DJ green room that markedly stands out from other spaces in Element’s Private Label Section and is frequently commented on by International DJs and music promoters |
DJs are able to enter the front of the private booth through sheer curtains, which permits club guests to see them, but exit whenever they choose through a hidden door at the back masked as a large vertical painting |
Part of the upstairs lounge area – a previously a dark and uninteresting box with Red Bull tables and stools – was transformed into a distinctive and lush seating area with green pleather and veneer daybeds, lounge chairs, tables, and wood-paneled hanging walls |
Fulfilling part of the club’s initial selling point of providing unique architecture and space design that creates an experience for guests and distinguishes the club from its competitors |
The new upstairs lounge area, now referred to as Earth, has provided an additional revenue stream by allowing for event rental and/or special table service |
Its success prompted numerous copycat projects |
